Part 1 of a 3 part walk is being led by Chris with an option to do part 2 and 3 with Jackie. We'll leave the village hall and make our way the Soudley ponds and follow their banks before heading off along a gently rising fire track which drops down before rising sharply up to Blaize Bailey and on to the well known viewpoint for a break. Leaving the view behind we'll follow the track before turning right up a short steep path which will then drop us down and back to the ponds via paths and tracks. From there it'll be back to the village hall where some may choose to call it a day and rest on their laurels but, for the rest, parts 2 and 3 await. Please note that dogs on leads are only allowed on this part. |
