This is a circular walk featuring stunning views, a ferry crossing and a footbridge over the River Wye and is a probably the premier walk in the Forest. It is a demanding but rewarding walk with some steep ascents and descents. Good walking shoes or boots required - poles may be helpful. If a hot day, bring plenty of water. Ferry if running costs £2 per adult so bring cash - if not running the walk becomes ~12.5 miles.
