Meet at: Abersychan Car Park (free) -Turn left off Broad Street into Union street.
From the car park we enter woodland heading for Pontypool Park, where we ascend to the shell grotto, and on to the folly tower. Both are run by volunteers and are open on bank holidays. From there we pick up the Cambrian Way, Mynydd Garn-wen, & return via Lasgarn wood.
